MDF Forming Machines

The traditional MDF mechanical matformer distributes fiber by using a series of inclined rotating spiked rollers. A newly developed MDF matformer achieves the same accuracy without the use of a scalping roll and the associated pneumatic transport equipment. A set of spiked disc rolls provide mat equalization. Pairs of disintegrating rollers, located between the fiber bunker and the distribution head, break up fiber balls and glue lumps to prevent damage to the ContiRoll® steel belts.
